Gouged at the pumps

If gas is 4.99 per gal at rpm,s how come its 3.88 and i am only 3hr north of him in ky?

I have know idea what's going on. I live right across the street from a gas station, and the price just went DOWN if you can believe that, by 4 cents a gallon. Today, gas here in the Fort is only $3.50 a gallon for the cheap stuff. And we're not that close to Texas.

Go figure.
