Lighting for safety

My original plan for taillights on my bucket was the standard '39 Ford cat's eyes. But I noticed a friend's car with these and they weren't very bright. I learned that one trick to improve brightness was to paint the inside of the light "bucket" white. But then I discovered LED's! A company called Technostalgia was selling LED taillights shaped like the '39 Ford units and their brightness is amazing. That's what I'm running with the addition of a 3rd "cats' eye" LED brake light from Speedway. What are you guys using for lighting?

Nice look & what a great idea.
We are using the old style lanterns (pic is an older one, but I couldn't easily find a more current one right now).
They seem to work pretty good, and we don't drive her much at night.

My friends think I am fanatic about safety lighting. The model a has 2 led model a taillights, a model a third brake light right below the back window with both sides of the bulb wired together, and a yellow fog light/running light on the front that burns day and night.

The 32 coupe has 41 Chevy led taillights, 2 Harley bullet taillights tucked underneath the gas tank that only come on with the brake, a third brake light in the back glass, and a yellow fog/running light on the front that burns day and night.

The led lights are the best they show up.

I had these pitiful lights I bought off of Amazon, they were suppose to be LED but were not. I went to eTrailer.com and bought some 4-1/4", 42 LEDs, that really made my TBucket more visible. One side was red and the other amber. I point the red behind me and the amber helped light up the back of the car.

The new light cost $46 each.
