-I am trying to make a driveshaft connect to a transmission yoke and my rear end. Unfortunately, these have ever been together. I need to figure out the size ujoints i have so that I can buy new ones to connect.
However I dont think this will work... what do you think?
AS pictured, the driveshaft is an outside snap ring style. The trans yoke has plastic melted inside to lock the joint in place. Holding the drive shaft end up to the ujoint on the trans yoke ujoint, it appears that the trans yoke u joint is slightly larger. Is there a way that by buying a ujoint work on this connection? I will have to measure exactly but wanted to throw this out there before I got too far.
The rear end is believed to be from a S10 that is in the late 90's early 2000's (helped by members of this site).
Thanks!
