Motor mounts

Just got the correct motor mounts from RPM. Thanks, Ron.

Now, when you tighten Cusion style motor mounts, are you to tighten until stop, or until very snug but still turn??? I sure don't want to split the rubber.

Thanks

I'm not sure what mounts RPM uses, but the motor mounts need to be snug/tight. More importantly, they need to have either a nylock style nut or a cotter pin to keep them from coming loose once the motor weight and eventual compression take effect. We use a quality ( grade 5 or better ) flat washer and a nylon lock nut. Do not forget to use anti-seize if your using Chrome or Stainless nuts
