That's an adorable baby. I'm still working on my door / door well. It's beginning to look promising.
A good tip for glassing : If you are going to glass an inside corner ; first apply plastic filler in the corner . Fiber glass will not negotiate a 90 degree bend. You have to radius the corner. I use the curved end of a tongue depressor to spread the plastic body filler evenly down the entire 90 degree corner. Now i have a radiused corner to lay my glass over. The glass will lay right in ( without a problem ). Plastic body filler bonds great to fiberglass. They're both plastic. G.M used plastic body filler on their early corvettes to bond the body panels together. HOPE THIS IS HELPFUL.
I glassed in some fiberglass mat rings to the backside of the skull's faces.
The faces are very thin & i know my t bucket body
is thicker than the faces. The last photo shows the bowed bases of the skull faces.
