At the cost of heavy wall tube, bending and machining the tube ends and spindle boss and building a simple weld fixture you should just buy one from Ron Pope. I have a complete machine and welding shop and I wouldn't do it unless I was going to to a hand full of them. Well worth the money anyway you look at it! Good luck with your project.
