New toy coming home today

Finally going to get my 1928 Buick home today. Funny I have gone through 6 births with my wife and a car that needs probably more work then I want to do coming home gave me a sleepless night.

Many pieces laying around there other than the hood side?
Does that engine run babbitt?

I have a feeling of deja vu .. did you or the previous owner have that posted before?

Just the hood.

I am guessing it runs babbitt.

It was me.

2 ton come-along and about an hour of pumping she was loaded.

Ah the come-along. Wonderful device.

It appears that you have the full mechanicals there.
Those cowls always looked very "upright" and stout. You know.. kind of like a general or the like, standing tall and proud.

What plans have you?
