Well, you guys may remember a while back I posted pics of a Caddy that belonged to the guy who owns a company across from where I work. Today, I'm working at the front of the warehouse and I hear this sweet azz rumble coming down the road. I turn and see his new toy.

'56 Chevy built by his brother who has a shop here. The engine is a Lingenfelter ZR1. He says it was one the the last they did before his bad wreck. 6 speed tranny and a full leather interior. Smells like a new wallet!
One of the cool things about this guy is that no matter how immaculate his cars are, he drives 'em when he can. Ya gotta love that.

He says it took best paint at this years Goodguys Lonestar Nationals. I could see the thread pattern of my jeans in the reflection!

That is one very nicely executed build... beautiful! Did he say what he has invested? Easily a 6 figure car...

He has a mechanic who works next to my office. I said it looked like $200k worth of car and he smiled and said that might have covered the paint and body work.

They started with a one owner '56 that had 27,000 miles on it. Seems Foose designed the interior, dash and trunk. The dash board sits 5" further out than stock and wraps around to continue on the door panels. All fabbed metal work. The front suspension is all new Vette. The engine has double the fuel rails, so it has an economy mode:rolleyes: and a "full on get it" mode. 4 valves per cylinder, full race rear suspension, one of a kind alloy rims.

Google his brother, Roy Pigford. He builds amazing cars. Check out his Chevy II!

Geez, doesn't that guy watch the news? There's a recession going on and it's the end of the world.

So, yeah I can dig it. Very, very nice ride. You bet your bippy if I had the money I'd be doing the same thing!
