I was going to put this in the tools section but found I cant start a new topic there for some reason.
Anyway this is an old style tool for lapping bores or holes to a fine tolerance. You put a fine grinding paste on the brass bit and then using a drill turn the bar working it forwards and backwards. On the end is a thread which when wound in will expand the brass bush. So you can lap a hole to very fine sizes. Kinda long winded but very cool. Whats more its MADE IN THE USA

I have used it a couple of time. Its as cool as a 50s Bucket with white walls
