Anyone know how many quarts of fluid a Powerglde takes?

The case with a stock pan holds 4 quarts. Converter size will determine what you need there.

13" - 5
12" - 4
11" - 3.5
10" - 3
9" - 2.5
8" - 2
7" - 2

Just be sure you fill the converter before installing it into the pump.

Hey Mike, When I got my bucket kit in a swap the engine and trany were all ready bolted together. It will be a while before I get everything together and ready to start but I have no idea if the converter was filled before installed. Should I take it apart and check before I start it? Will it, could it be damaged if it wasn't filled before starting?
