Sanding door outlines

Cool Ron but I,m just adding a 1-1/2" section in the middle of each door but just cutting out the right one so the Wife who broke her knee can get in easier.. Yes I''l put the hinges in first. That was a cool idea.

What kind of hinges and latches are you guys using? I'm close to that decision.

I bought an original 1925 hinge for $19. on E-Bay. The '25 does not stick out as much as earlier ones..
