BG products has been around for quit a while. They make good products. I wouldn't call their stuff snake oils. They've spent alot of money developing this stuff.....Stands for Bearing & Gear. They first had services to analyze impurities in oils, like bearing grit, contamination, etc.
Last month in Engine Builder Magazine, they had a write-up on oils and additives....I'm surprised that they were not included in there.
Alot of the auto repair shops and dealerships carry their products. I use them, too.
LOL The reason I said "snake oil" is because, usually, stuff you pour in your car is just that. I swear by STP oil treatment (my dad used it), SeaFoam and now this. Before this weekend I'd never heard of it, but the NAPA guy swore by it and he was dead on. I went for another drive this evening and Miss Behavin' is runnin' sweet. NAPA told me BG makes an oil treatment also. I may try it next oil change.
