Trouble shooting . . .

Next time it does it, do the basis,
fuel and spark,
pull the air filter and open the throdle if you see gas from the acclerator pump, if ok it will be electoral, then pull the coil wire and (hold gently) close to ground and crank engine to see if you have spark, I use a mechanical fuel pump, have not had any problems, Fuel filters or screens in tanks will act as the same as your systems,

Thanks, Waterman. The previous time, it started and ran before I had a chance to do more than a cursory check of things. Next time (if there is one) I'll do as you suggest. :thumbsup:
 
Those intermittent problems are irritating. Maybe fletcherson was right and it just passed a little water. Good luck diagnosing the issue Spanky.
