Think I got something I might need shipping assistance with, if at all possible, that's near Ft. Myers.

I should know more tomorrow but I'm trying to get some assistance lined up in case it is needed.

Mark... Duuuuude! This thing ROCKS! UPS truck got here about an hour after I came home from work and I immediately unboxed everything. Flippin' Perfect.

Twas a bit like a time machine back to the late '80s when I clicked the power button. Back then I worked in a music store and fell in love with that little stack. I have a full size and completely unusable stack that just sits there right now; too big, too heavy, and almost completely worthless. Haven't even turned it on in a couple of years.

Got this one set up and played my black Les Paul for a couple of hours. Got it up to 4 and couldn't take much more at that volume... I'm sure the neighbors loved it too! I can't wait to put it B.t.t.W. live.

I cannot express thanks enough for your assistance, I can only hope that someday I can return the favor or pay it forward.

For the record, I am absolutely green with envy. ;)

Had Mark sent it here, I would still be playing my black Strat. OK, maybe the arthritis in my hands wouldn't have allowed quite that much playing. But I'm still envious...

I've been looking for a good one (kinda hard to find in good condition - Mosfet Lead 100 Marshall with angled and straight 2x12 cabs - google search for Marshall 1966a / 1966b cabs - it's like finding rocking horse poop, golden rocking horse poop encrusted with diamonds) for a LONG LONG time... well, since '95 and that's a long time to me. I've had the 1965b cab (4x10) since about '93 and was trying to find a 1965a cab to go with it. Have an old crusty Lead 100 that has some scratchy pots also.

When I found this one it was almost like finding that golden rocking horse poop. Darn thing doesn't look like it was ever out of the previous owner's home.

Pristine condition (for a guitar rig about 15 years old that is).

I'm going to do a Tomato Red Marshall JCM800 side-by-side comparison and maybe put a video on youtube.

Hear Alan's rig here -

Strange how when I think about it, Alan's guitars- ES335 and his TV Yella Double cut LP, the 'mater red Marshall JCM, B-Rad's rig - the old late 60s Tele and original blackface Fender Super, my Gretsch kit, old Ludwig black beauty snare, and Zildjian Platinum cymbals... there's a whole bunch of very costly musical instruments on that stage, but still less than the cost of a new truck. About HALF the cost of a new truck, and it took us a L O N G time to afford the instruments we play.

Well it looks like I broke something... on the intertronz again. "An error occurred. Please try again later."
