Hey Putz!!! :ciao: I know we both live in Wisconsin but I just wanted to let you know I was born in Minnesota. Just wanted to wish you the best of luck......LOL

This is gonna be the game of the year.......GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!

Mike

Go Dallas!! I'm a cowboys fan..

But between the vikings and packers I'm rooting for the vikings, I've always liked watching a few good quarterbacks play, Favre,Peyton Manning,Troy Aikman, Steve Young, Joe Montana,Roger Staubach, Terry Bradshaw.. Oh man I miss the days of the cowboys and steelers and the cowboys and 49'ers...
Favre is probably one of my favs to watch now, especially with being 40 yrs old, he amazes me..

Me 2, that's a great list of players!

Favre is cool because he reminds me of players like you listed. He plays old fashioned style football and very few players are like that.

Mike

Go Vikings

At least the Pack made a game of it. A blow-out would have been so disappointing.

Two things that stand out this week, the Titans won (by more than a field goal) and the Giants was abused.

Yeah, i'll say this though.......I'm a big Farve fan but Rodgers is a heck of a tough guy that plays right up to the end. I hope Rodgers doesn't get injured because he should have a great future ahead of him. Geez does he get sacked hard......

Mike

The Packers O-line owes Rogers an apology. It would be cool if the Vikings stay strong and win a Superbowl.

Viking win a Superbowl You guys crack me up! What is a viking called with a superbowl ring? A thief. What does this [ ] look like a vikings superbowl trophy case empty.LOL

Rodgers does take a lot of hits, sometimes he shows good things other times he's not showing much at all, guess time will tell...

I'm a dallas fan and I like Romo but I don't think he has it upstairs to be a SuperBowl QB.. I hope he and the rest of the cowboys prove me wrong :)

I'd be happy if they just made it there, its only been 30 years.

Romo is great!!!! Time can do wonders and he has a ton of untapped potential. He has a great future a head of him. Remember when the Cowboys were the holy grail of football???? Ah the good old days.

Putz........I'm not even going to comment......I know you Packer fans are a little touchy now that you lost Farve. But don't worry the Packers have a good chance of being in the Super Bowl sometime within the next 100 years or so.:)

I actually carried it in my hand. I even sewed the suit myself 3 twister games.

As a life-long Packer fan I have to say something.

I was a Packer fan before Favre. I was an ecstatic Packer fan during Favre's years there. I'm still a Packer fan after he "retired."

There was never any doubt that Favre could play.

Just image an alternative universe where Favre didn't retire and the Pack went on to win the division a couple more years only to lose in the playoffs because of interceptions from the gunslinger. ;) Then imagine where Aaron Rodgers would have gone (and he would have left if Favre came back to the Pack).

Heck Rodgers might have ended up in Minnesota. They have been a really good team for a couple of years, but only needed a QB. Favre walked in to a very good setup.

Seriously though, he's still a great QB and would be on any team in the NFL.

Too bad he's no longer a Packer, too bad the whole thing went down so ugly, too bad he now plays for a division rival, but good for him for proving a 40 year old can play almost twenty years straight and still be considered one of the best on the field.

We could talk "IF" all night long (and IF a cow $#!+ butter you wouldn't have to churn, just lift its tail and dip it out, right?) but the truth is the Vikes have a very good team, the Pack didn't protect and didn't score when it was needed.

I know from personal experience... put on the pads and take a hit from a college player, then multiply that by ten times... see if you can get up after getting hit by an NFL player.

I respect ALL of them, even the kickers LOL.
