Weird firing issue.

You are the man!! That stupid ballast resistor is what was my mental block. The dang thing fired right off. Of course I have to sort out my fuel problem now but I have a handle on that.:lol:

So leaving the wire to the coil permant will have no ill effects on the system, right?

Yes, that wire is only "juiced" when starting.
