My Home made c-cab !

The emergency room will be filled with whiplash cases every time you take that C-cab for a ride.

Everyone will have comments good and bad. Like Ted said, build it for comfort and looks after safety first, and you will always enjoy what you have accomplished. If you don't believe me, just drive it anywhere and look for the smiles and thumbs ups along with the waves from kids and PRETTY WOMEN!!!LOL

Well I do know what you mean about the thumbs up... This might be my first c-cab,,, But not the first hot rod.... I have built some wild rides in my life time.. And seen so many thumps and almost seen a few crash's because of some of my cars, I have been followed around, And so on... It get's wild sometimes... So believe me,, I have been there..LOL.. Now as for Safety.... IT'S AWAYS #1 ON ANY BUILD i DO....

Mr.Tom... I think I will ride with a video on all the times I ride in this car.... I really think this one is going to freak people out when it hit's the street's... It will be fun to see...

Been busy building a t-bucket... Here's a few pictures, I added a round bar along the bottom to give it a little flare at the bottom of the body when it's all done..

Being unemployed, If I could ever afford another project it will be a C-Cab. Awesome work.

Amazing!!! I cannot tell you how impressed I am with the work you have done on this. I'm building a new frame for my car, now I'm starting to wonder if I should consider a new body too. Unfortunately my design/fabrication skills are no where near your level, I may have to try a simpler design.

It's true Mr.Jim... Changed my life over night... I have this thing I deal with everyday, Somedays are better then others... It's called bipolar disorder,,, I can tell you a millon ways how to kill yourself... They have all passed through my head more then once... I take Meds for it.. And as long as I stay in my shop... I can deal with it... Very hard to deal with everyday of your life.. One day your up, Next day your way down low... It can get bad very fast for me, And others around me..So now I have learned to accept it... Have a few other problems also... But that's just letting me know I'm getting older...LOL.. I do feel sometimes I have a wasted talent...But sometimes you have to play with the hand you were dealt...

Your build is truly impressive. You have vision, direction and the skill to carry it all out.

I see you have Louisiana listed as home. Hmm.. we may be LONG distant cousins. ;) I'm from Nova Scotia.

My wife was diagnosed as bipolar over 30 years ago. It took years to find the right meds for her.
I understand very well how disabling it can be for you and those around you. Anyone who hasn't had personal experience just won't understand how it can completely stop someone from doing just about everything.

I think I see now how you manage to get so much work done. Having focused work sure seems to help from what I've seen and cousin... you have focus. :)

Oh... I really am glad to see someone using a mask while grinding and welding but PLEASE use eye protection.

Can't wait for the next batch of pictures! :)

Joe

nolimits, you do gorgeous work! I am soooooo jealous.

By the way, there's a guy in Alexandria with a C cab, also.

I know what You mean Mr.Joe.. To many people take Bipolar to lightly.. I know to many people that did.. And lost someone very close to them... On My really bad days.. If no one is here, I will leave and go by a friends house for a little while.. He will talk to me, And I will be OK..I do want everyone here to know.. I'm not posting this, To have anyone to feel sorry for me... I didn't do it for that reason... Just if you know someone that has it... Take care of them before you can't.. Randy
