    Reintroduction, been away

Just wanted to reintroduce from my new home. Have been off the site for some time as I have relocated from eastern PA to the Lancaster area of SC. Looks like it is going to be a great area for a bucket with great weather. So Hi again.

    Unusually long body

I stretched my bed to 32" and moved the gas tank below it. Love the added length when you go cruising or to a show. Now the chairs, pop up and cooler do not have to ride inside with me. I agree that some fenders on the back would add to the look and give it a bit more of a finished look.

T body sits to the right, how do I adjust it to ride right

Have you measured from the floor up to the frame at a number of points? this will tell you if it is a suspension problem or not. If it is level then you have to look at the mounting of the components on the frame and adjust if needed.

Tools and Car supplies for Cruisin' and Rod Runs....

A few basic tools, fan belt, WD40, rags, fuses and a cell phone, that's about it. Only used a couple of fuses but have helped others with minor problems, majors is where the cell phone comes in.

T body sits to the right, how do I adjust it to ride right

Had a similar problem to yours in that the drivers side sat lower than the passenger side, made it look even when no one was in the car that there was weight on the drivers side. Did the measurements on the flat shop floor to the frame and it was level further inspection showed that who ever did...

    Rear axle identification

The wear from a bent housing would be irregular, would it not? This is even wear on all splines on both axles and on both gears. Looks like a lot of miles possibly not changing the lube often enough. Know a couple other guys with S10 diffs and they do not have any problems. One even has a BBC...

    Rear axle identification

Thanks for the info. Makes it bad when you buy something and the only information you have is word of mouth. Will definitely mark it if and when I find out what it is.

    Rear axle identification

Was told when I bought my bucket that it had an early model Chevy S Blazer rear end. Had to replace an axle bearing and when I pulled the axle found that the splines were worn about half way. Need to replace the axles, side gears and other components inside the diff. Crown and pinion do not show...

    Wanted chrome heat shields

Looked at doing that but the cut edge would be subject to rusting, would it not?

    Moving south

Taxtopia is right, my property tax will go down about 65%, same size house but lot is 40% smaller, going with mow and blow so I can watch the work being done with a cold beer in my hand after a relaxing ride in the bucket to the golf course.

    Wanted chrome heat shields

Bruce Had looked at these before but at the price they want I would be better off to order a set from Speedway with the turn outs and sell my turn outs Wayne
