Engine swap project

Well it started out with a 350, but I was given a well built 468 from a contractor of mine right after I traded for the Bucket. So I thought, where better to put 630hp? This could be bad. Let me know what you think of the look. I wanted to go with some different stuff like fuel injection, the painted tunnel, fenderwell headers off a Tri-five chevy. I'm just shy plumbing, final wiring, and final exhaust work. I have to shorten the collectors and move them up. The headers are about 2in above the ground now, and I have to extend them out about 30 inches to keep my O2 sensor happy.

Looks like a cool Bucket. I'm not feeling the headers though. Maybe some zoomies?

They will be lower than the scrub line. Your front shocks should be mounted with the bushings the length of your T. The upper mounts will most likely bind and or bend.

I think what Tom's saying is your upper shock mounts should be parralel to the frame , perpendicular to the axle ., right Tom ?
