    You may need to be careful with SEMA and the SEMA Action Network (SAN). I remember when SAN was trying to get legislation passed to outlaw hot rod engines older than some year which I can't remember, maybe 1970? Anyway if I remember correctly, they wanted the older engines to be scrapped, and were going to make arrangements for the owners to buy new blocks, parts, etc. from the SEMA members at discounted prices. Obviously the plan eventually fizzled out. Somebody please let me know if I am not remembering this correctly.
