Well, after a long dry spell, I'm now able to post pics! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Mr. T Bucket for sending me a camera. As always, hi-tech stuff is like Greek to me, so it took a while for me to figure it out. But I hung in there and now..... Miss behavin' porn.

Here's a shot of my new engine. 350SBC. The guy who did it for me donated a Holley Contender manifold. It's a repo of one used on Gen 1 Z-28's.

The edit feature ran out, so here are more details. I have several sets of valve covers. The Edelbrock set shown was a birthday gift. I also have a finned set that was a gift from Lumen Al, when I first built her. Long time members may notice that I no longer have the pin-up on the cowl. I switched her out a few times and tend to change my mind often. She's sporting the Mr. Horsepower logo for now. That's a perk of not having a paint job on her. The current finish is the gelcoat. It still looks good with only a few minor scratches. One day, she'll get painted black.

I use the "classic" headers, but I'm hoping to get a set of lake headers this Christmas. We'll see. The rear tires are fairly new and are 235-75R-15. A nice tread pattern and a good height. I did my own interior in red vinyl. A simple bench with compartments underneath for fuse box, battery and a small tool set. The steering wheel is a vintage Superior 500 with a red metal flake grip.

I got a chrome alternator not long ago and mounted up top. It looks close tothe headers in the pic, but it's got about 1" clearance and so far, no troubles from the header heat. The radiator is from Speedway motors. I got the buffed finish due to cost and I like the look. Although a chrome shell is on my wish list.

Looking good Fred, that new small block should move it out really nice:)

Mike, PLEASE extend the time for editting!!! Sometimes, I make grammer errors and would like the chance to correct them. 10 minutes is not enough.

Looking good, Fred! Happy to help out. Glad the camera will get some use.

Looking Good Fred !!

Fred: Thomas said "Hello" He's still playing that banjo. LOL

Man, it's good to hear that Tom is doing well. I miss him on here. He was an original member. He, Rick (RIP) and I spanked the bottom of this site when it first opened up. Good times.

It was you Fred that first invited me to this site over on the old NTBA chat room one evening. That was quite awhile ago.

Your car looks great as always. Remember "Failure to Yield" LOL

Ron, I do remember that! I stopped running it, though. About a year after I had it on, a kid came up and said it was spelled wrong. About that time, a member on the HAMB said the same thing. So, I checked it out. Sure enough, the word "Yield" is spelled "YEILD" on the frame! I still have it some where and it makes me smile when ever I come across it.

I don't run a frame anymore, in an attempt at keeping a cleaner look on the back end.
