Model A Speedster Build

Guys,

New guy here & here we go! I understand this build will be a little different than the standard T-bucket build but I'm looking for advice and support from a "Build 'em and Drive 'em" forum like this one.

Here are the specifications for the build as I see them:

1) Custom made Bugatti T-35 frame & body. A buddy of mine is beginning a business fabricating frames & bodies. Take a look here: http://www.sterantino.com/

2) Use as many "off the shelf" parts as possible to make this chassis replicable for the "average" builder, someone with limited or no welding skills, but is willing to wrench and sweat to build something totally unique.

3) My goal is to build a 20's-30's "period" speedster, not an exact replica of any single car.

But very close to something like Hot Rod magizine's "Forgatti"

Here is the mock up of the front suspension, ordered straight out of Speedway, 46" 4" dropped axle, spring behind with split wishbones. I really like the look!

I'll keep this thread updated as much as possible, hope you enjoy!
