Taking Shape Slowly

Installed drive shaft and headers waiting on alternator bracket to mount alternator on lower passenger side. Tried 2 different brackets for lower drivers side but couldn;t get enough swing to tighten belt without hitting frame.

Hi Leo,your car looks cool and you are entering that exciting stage where it is starting to come together for the last time but one has to be patient not to rush things and get something wrong. One question tho is do you guys not require a drive shaft safety loop towards the front of the drive shaft in-case it ever breaks to stop the shaft from digging into the ground somersaulting the car over???

Just so you don't have to open them. It is looking good

Hi
You could always go for a prop driven one

Ended up using the drivers side low mount on the passenger side with a spacer

Here's an updated picture. About ready to loosely mount body and start some wiring.

Spent yesterday aligning frame and axles with NTBA tech page getting it square and straight. All measurements are within an eighth of an inch.Do you think this is close enough?
Now cutting holes for shifter wiring ect. Then fashion brace between windshield mounts and for column drop. Then back to the painter for paint and flames. My link

I love looking at the pictures of this Bucket. You could leave it as is and I would be happy. Its just so very 'clean'

Looks like great progress maybe ready for summer. Body is mounted just a tad high. LOL

Moved battery to under seat and had to build a box to make it work. Was going to put next to gas tank but made things to close even with the battery on it's side.
Pop riveted and panel bonded it in. Also a 1/2" wide piece of 1/8th inch steel under dash on the lip to mount column drop to panel bonded this also.

Worked on deck lid today. Spring loaded needs no prop.
