What Coil over spring is everyone running? I'm looking at replacing my old coilovers with a set of QA1 coil overs and am debating whether to use 150 lb., 130 lb., or 110 lb. springs.

I put 4-115# coilovers QA-1 on my Jag. rear suspension and had to adjust them up, because they weren't stiff enough.

I would guess about 130lbs would be near idea.. Think 150 would be a lil stiff on a T.. your mounting angle can come into play, but on a T I don't think it would matter much..
Best way to do it, would be to get in your T and go hit the nearest scales and get a rear weight, then gestimate how much the rearend weighs and subtract the rearend weight from the total weight, and that will get you close, and when you order them generaly the shock manufacturer will have a springrate chart..

I am running Carreras by QA1. I bought them from Speedway, part number 225-2254X with a B spring rate. My car weighs 1937 pounds with the rear being 50 pounds heavier than the front. I weigh 160 and my wife weighs 110 pounds and we find the ride firm but comfortable. The firmness also allows for very good handling.

I am running 130#, I am about 190 and the car weighs less then 2K... its a pretty comfy ride until I hit the bumpy roads running solo

Don't guess at this. Find a race car shop that has digital scales and get a real front and rear weight. Then you can talk to the shock company and get exactly what you need. Being in the FTW/Dallas area there are plenty of racers and shops that have those scales. Lots of circle track guys have them for their personal use. Mike Brink (Brink Racecraft) in Irving probably has a set or at least knows of someone that does. Tell him George from Venus sent you. No use in doing this twice. Good luck.
