Lost your Wife at 27, makes me want cry for you, that had to be hard on you... Do you have kids? I did not read the intro either..

She has a 7 year old son, but he lives with his dad.

i have one of those sears compressors too. got it 5 years agoon sale for $199 when they closed the sears store here. now two sets of pistons and cylinders later she's still working. i keep trying to get enough bucks for a bigger one but something always shows up on e-bay that....well you know the rest of that story. just don't forget to drain the water every month or so.

rods and bikes ... man it don't get anysweeter than this!!!!!!

UPS freight just called and had to reschedule the motor and transmission delivery for tomorrow. I guess it didn't get to Tucson in time to make it on to the truck. She said that it's physically in Tucson now, so tomorrow for sure. Now the big decision is whether I should go back to work today. I'm already changed into my "motor-lifting" clothes...

have rooster show you the chicken dance ... you can practice for tomorrow!

This is good stuff! Motor and tranny came today. The driver used the liftgate and pallet jack so I didn't have to use my cherry picker to unload it. He rolled it right up the driveway into the garage.

Man now thats the way to start a build. Damn son you have even got the gray epoxy floor with sprinkles. Look i can take the new motor and the trans. The highrise is a very nice touch. But now your just showing off with the sprinkles ITS TO MUCH ARG!!!!!!!!!:)

Oh that epoxy floor is the best thing I ever did. I did it within an hour of being handed the keys to the house.

I have actually thought about renting a pod and doing my floor. Is it durable??? what was the drying time??? Home depot????

Nice Torque curve on that engine! Cars with those flat torque curve motors are fun to drive. ;) In the wrong gear? No worries, just floor it!

Seems pretty durable. The only places that I've messed it up is when I lowered the U-Haul ramp on to it the next morning, and some welding spatter burns where I welded right on the floor. I think it's supposed to cure for a couple days. And yeah, got it at Home Depot. Took 2 kits for a 2 car garage.

Time for an avatar. Since I don't yet have a bucket pic to use, I'll use the view from my front yard for the time-being. :)

Dude, I could find a nice chair, get a cool drink and sit in your yard forever. Must be nice seeing a huge post card every day. I really dig seeing views like that.
