Gotta start 'em young . . .

You never know. The car bug bit me when about 11 or 12 a guy took me for a ride in a Triumph TR3 roadster which was like a go kart.

My two youngest of 5 grand kids getting the feel of my hot rod. 2 and 4 years old is not too early, in my humble opinion, to begin to develop an appreciation for our hobby.

that truly is very cool and i agree with ya 100 percent.

i think i was always into cars. i grew up on main street in my town and would as a toddler hold my self up at the window and watch the cars go by. my first word wasn't 'dad' or mom', it was car.

but what i think what sealed the deal for me was sitting inside a brand new '65 mustang (i was born in '65). it was red with a red interior and may have had the pony interior. my mom said it had a "v8" i'm guessing was a 289 and a four speed. she said i loved that car.

also, another moment was when they had one of the '66 batmobiles displayed at a local mall. it was behind ropes but when nobody was looking my mom sat me in the car.

here's me on my dear uncle's harley.
