Could some or you guys post some pics of your grill shell ornaments ie dogbone , motometer, whatever and where you picked it up. I am replacing my grill shell and radiator from the 32 height to the t height 3 inches shorter. I need a bolt on ornament chrome to break the black up some. Thanks

Here is mine. the wings rather than the dogbone.

With the duece shell, your pretty much limited to the stock typr radiator cap and bezel or a cap with the grayhound on it. Might think about some simple stripping tho>

Ron

I agree with old8ba. You already have some striping, so I would suggest putting a small design on either side of the top of the shell, and then don't draw attention away from that with a motometer or dog bones or what-have-you. Just put on a plain chrome cap and let the striping stand out.

All the fiberglass repo '32 shells i've seen have had the top reshaped somewhat to give the filled appearence. Just use the strpping to break up the soild color.

I dont have a duce shell. I had to extend the 23 shell height to use a new 32 duce radiator i had on hand when i built my car and i never liked the height of it so i ordered another 23 shell from spirit and a new radiator stock 23 height {3.5 inches shorter}. I will have it restriped, but i was thinking an ornament would help with so much black. Bruce where did you get yours?? does it bolt to the shell or is it functional??? Thanks guys for the help.

Sorry i mis-read the original post. Speedway has the best pricing I've found on these.

I think their pricing is good to but i cant tell by their pics on their website. if you have a speedway ornament post a pic of it please.

The filler neck is part of the Walker radiator. I'm not sure where the Motormeter came from. I'd have to check the receipts, and snice I just moved I have no clue where to even look.

Thanks guys i ask speedway if the fillerneck comes with the wings or is a seperate part number.

Just as a quick explanation on why those inserted links are not working -

When you click on the Insert Link button, it starts the URL out for you with the http:// already inserted. That bit of text is highlighted, so just paste the external URL in and it will overwrite everything. As it is, you're clicking in the text entry window, which leaves the default http:// there and then pasting in a URL complete with a second http://. Not a browser in the world that can sort a URL starting with http://http:// . :winkn:

If you click in the text entry window, be sure to backspace and delete the default http:// and you'll be golden.
