Are you using an independent or solid real axle.

I use an independent XJ6 rear axle (ratio 3.08). The engine is a SBC327 of OPEL DIPLOMAT and it's the same as corvette 68-69 !
I also use the XJ6 IFS !

Here is pics of my pick-up and engine block that i rebuild :
