The pic of your truck came up when i clicked on it.

Just a thought here, buy $100 in tubing and build your own frame. A whloe lot less work. Use the truck for a donor for your bucket. JMO

Ron is 1000 % right the pu will endup being an impossible project for a t bucket. I tell ya i would make that pu a shortbed and chop the top i saw one of these at a car show and was cool.

I'm sure you are right about building a frame would be better if I wanted a true t-bucket, but I'm going for a different spin on it.

Think t-bucket meets Beverly Hillbillies truck with a solid top like the guy in Sweden is doing with a Volvo. It is the best that I can do to describe it, because I still want this t-bucket to be a truck too.

This what you have in mind a C cab/truck?

I started over three yrs ago with an s10 chevy striped it down to a roller thought I was gonna put a tbucket on it when I finally bought a 27 style bodie it looked kinda funny on that frame so I am now building a frame out of 2x3x3/16 tubing a24 ft stick for 84 bucks it will be a lot less work than modifying the truck frame. but do what makes you happy cause theese things are our playthings and if you don't like it you can allways do over. Good luck with your project:lol:

I would have figured an S-10 would make a great frame for something. It shows how little I know. In the past, I've built 2 trikes, but I didn't like either and sold them. The truck belonged to my late uncle, but the body is so gone and I wanted to do something with the truck. In the end, I may only use the engine and rear end, but we'll just see what happens. I'm still having fun taking that truck apart one rusted or beat up piece at a time.

I appreciate you guys telling me it would be easier and cheaper to build my own frame. I know you are right, but I'm dumb or stubborn.:)
