New member, old head. I could have sworn I registered for this site DECADES ago, as I ran across it sometime around 2007 while investigating the Buckethead Bash show that used to be held in Mountain Home AR. Went to that show, loved it, never got a chance to go back. Started a t-bucket build ten years ago, bought a 23 fiberglass body with turtle deck, but then had a motorcycle accident that confined me to a wheelchair for two months, and then life got in the way. I'm currently starting to save up for the laundry list of parts that I need to get together so I can plan out my frame. I'm in no hurry to get it done, so I'll be moving slow and getting good parts. Planning on a BBC with 8-stack EFI and a TH400 going into a quick-change rear end, and kicking around the idea of full fenders and custom running boards. Along with some welding and bodywork experience, I have a lot of seat upholstery experience (mainly making OEM replacement seat covers for 67-72 chevy trucks) and lots of leatherwork and leather tooling experience (Attached is a motorcycle I did a few years back). All the leather was hand-tooled and the seat cover directly replaced the original seat cover. Planning to give my t-bucket the same treatment.
