I'm doing some testing

I'm going to be doing some server configuration testing for a little while. I'll be logged into the site and watching what's happening, so if something should happen to 'break', I'll get it handled straight away.

And who knows? The mad scientist may get the site running just a tiny bit faster, as a result.

Well, I think I probably managed to log out all of you who were logged in. Mea culpa. I was editing some caching files and since they were clearing, it was also clearing your sessions.

And I did manage to find a bit more speed in average page loads, but I don't really think anyone is going to feel the 0.0155 second improvement in the seat of their pants. I think the site is running as close to perfect as it can, so trying to find major improvements is getting hard and harder to accomplish.

OK, I'm finished tweaking. And I'm sure all of you can really feel the average 0.0015 reduction in page load times I managed to find with the last tweak.

But in rooting around in all of those settings, I managed to find a couple places to help improve caching, so the average 0.0170 second I managed to shave off page load times was worth it to me. But it will be difficult explaining to you why I spent over 3 hours in trying to save you 0.0170 second in loading this page. Just remember, I'm not just an auld git, I'm a stubborn, auld git.
