Yeah, the brakelines installation on the total performance frame is a little uncomfortable especially with 90-degree fittings near the master cylinder.
If this cautionary information is going to help, my instructor at the automotive school advised me against any kind of sealant on the brakelines. We're betting on the reliability of the entire braking system(not to forget our safety) at the mercy of a sealant.
I'm glad I took his advice. My lines leaked at a couple of joins especially near the brake switch. But I put took it apart and redid it 3 times before my lines stopped leaking. I've not used a single drop of sealant or tape and I've sprayed talcum powder around all the joints to detect leaks.
