Thought I saw a thread in Here somewhere about King Pin Caps… ??
Bought new Chevy spindles from speedway motors… they gave me small metal looking hats that I assume are the final caps to cover the king pins top and bottom as there are 4… BUT they don’t snap in… They set in and are loose, would bounce out first bump… Are they wrong size? I can’t possibly see them being inserted with a sealant? Where would I find new ones? I looked at speedway and couldn’t find anything… Online search too ??? I read in the thread about using a Quarter, and a quarter was too small… I should mention that they are New Chevy spindles on a t Bucket.. Thanks all

you can try here...

Need year and make yada, yada, yada.
Thanks Henry, wasn’t looking to spend $200 for a few round caps.. Don’t need the whole kit… Thanks for the reply…

It's been a long time but I thought the caps went in before the retainer clips were installed.
These are the finish top dust caps that give the spindle tops a finished look… Had them on my old set, but those are a lil smaller… I would upload photos but this site isn’t user friendly for photos..

Sounds.like someone may have pulled the wrong caps when assembling the kit. Have you tried contacting Speedway and see if they could send you the correct caps?

Try the tutorial linked below.

Are you having trouble posting the photo because it's too big or just the act of uploading your photo to your post?

Years ago those tin caps fit tight and had to be tapped in place; for a while now they have been too small and little dab of silicone will hold them. Probably dimensions messed up during conversion to Chinese manufacturing.
