Made some steps

Made some steps so the grandkids can get in and out a little easier. I don't really care for steps but after my grandaughter almost stepped on the hot pipes i decided i better rig up something so the could get in and out a little easier. They're Model A steps from Speedway. Made some brackets and bolted 'em to the frame.

They look good. Simple, clean and not big. :)

At first I thought you had them on the clamp that held the exhaust.
Then I zoomed in and see you made a nice, sturdy bracket.
With my clunky back I need doors (and I'm clumsy).

Looks good nice addition. Is your shifter between your legs?It must be cable operated HUH?I added your pics that ok

Yeah it's between my legs. At first i wasn't really crazy about the location but i kind of like it now. It's a homemade shifter using a combination of the original tranny linkage and some home made parts. But the bad part is there's no neutral safety switch and no park detent. Soon as i find the "right" shifter i'll change it out.

My son stopped by last night just as i finished up the right side. Naturally the grandson (he just turned 6) just had to try out "his" new step. I had taught him how to get in and out by using the back tire but the step works much better.
