Moving day!

Nope, I don't post much.

After nearly 2 years of being distanced from my disabled son due to that pesky need to stay employed, I'm moving back to the St. Louis area in a month or so.

I get to pull all of my furniture out of storage - it's been hiding out in Iowa since July of last year. I'm hoping that my furniture hasn't been converted into a rodent condo by now.

I get to pull my project out of storage where it's been resting, hopefully not rusting, in pieces, since April of '09.

Happy times. :kiltdance:

I'm not looking for labor to help me move, I'm looking for Bucketeers around the 'Lou to connect with and get back into getting our project restarted. One reason I started building this heap was to have an interest in common with my son. He's made all of the style decisions, I get veto power when it comes to safety...

Sing out by replying to this thread, or PM's gladly accepted.

If you park your T Project out side now and then, you should have no problem making new like minded friends,,, I I were closer, I would help you move... Good Luck with the drive. :)

Thanks Ted, much appreciated.

My only concern is attracting too much attention, never a good thing.

So when ya coming back? I live in Hazelwood, MO and am building a Spirit 27T. Getting ready to prime/paint frame and suspension parts. Want to get rolling chassis done before I start the body work. I imagine we both could use some help on occasion since some of the parts weight a lot more than I do.

I'll be "landing" there some time after 6/1. The job startup is nutz with me making two banzai trips from Charlotte out to San Fran within the first week and a half of starting. Gotta love leaving the rack at 4AM, and getting home the day after you boarded the plane...

My "home office" is based in Ballwin, I'm trying to find something that has a garage and will be rodder-friendly so that's going to take a smidge of work. My son lives in St. Peters, I also need to be relatively near there.

But, you betcha. I'd be happy to lend a hand, swap lies, whatever.

My son chose our first project. It's a 23 stretched roadster. Body and chassis from Main Street Rod/Old Dog up on Dorsett. Different in that it sports a Heidt's Superride 2 front suspension.
