Rear suspension

How many of you are using the traditional transverse leaf "buggy" spring for your rear suspension? Most of us (including me) use coilovers in the rear, but some builders still recommend the transverse spring, and their builds seem to be very roadworthy. What do you think?

I’m using a transverse rear spring on my bucket! It’s been going strong for 45+ years. It could ride a little smoother but it’s livable. I’ve considered changing to coil overs a time or two. Considering how long it takes me to do things these days, the bucket would be apart for a year! I want to keep it together so I can hop in it anytime time I want and co for a cruise. That’s my only excuse to keep it the way it is!
