I am wondering anyone's experience with sanderson "zoomies' headers, as far as street use?. I have heard that they can be to loud, and are difficult to quiet down even with mufflers supplied?. thankyu Larry

Very Loud, Even Louder if you have a top. The baffles really don't make a difference. They're ok for shows and VERY short trips, but you're going on a longer trip, you'll need ear protection.

i have sandersons 19 inch yes they are a little loud but i dont care , i have the inserts and have not put them in , if you have cranky neighbors this will p--s them off. I have been told no louder than a loud harley by freinds until you hit the go pedal hard.I am going to make a 100 mile trip tomorrow and i will repost when i get home . super chevy is in west palm going to the car show.

The last post is right on the money.......they'll wake up the dead. If you got the baffles, go to a auto store that sells exhaust supplies.....get a piece of tubing that'll extend the core about 2 inches.......get some asbestos wrap, wrap the core between the baffles and secure the wrap with stainless steel wire.......do this on all of them......cuts them down enough to take the bite out of that loud ass exhaust note, especially when you romp down on it.
This work usually.....Sometimes you have to add 3 inches instead of 2......I'm over half deaf anyway for starting those AA/FC Engines....those dawm zoomies.............

You can have all that NOISE, I like a sweet low tone, or totally quiet, really fakes them out... A real class act... i am in the middle of testing a new setup now, to be soft and low, when you want sound, and totally silent for the quiet times, changed all from the drivers seat. Remember this, a none blown engine, needs a collector and back pressure to make horse power, zoomies kill it...

Hey Ted, what cha doin'?:)..................................Are you gonna put a pr. of those cable controlled cutouts in your exhaustes?............(Would be cool!!!!!!)
