Speedo gear

My speedometer is off about 20%. (Shows 80 at 65 MPH) It is a turbo 350 transmission . It has a 19 tooth driven gear. Can I switch to a 22 tooth without changing the drive gear.

GM parts counter man can tell you that if he's old enough to read the books instead of the computer.

I went to my Chevy dealer and the Parts man didn't look in a book or computer. I told him I need a Turbo 350 speedometer driven gear. He said I have to know how any teeth. I told him 22. He rattled off a number that end in -22 and said I can have it here this afternoon. I used to show 60MPH at 2000 RPM now it is 50MPH at 2000 RPM. My math shows about 3 MPH fast. That is cool.
