I just got back from the courthouse to get a tag for the T bucket I bought earlier this year. Rather than take the T in for inspection, I got a form for a local policeman to inspect. The lady also said, she would probably not need the Tenn title since she would probably not title it in Ala. Sounds good to me. I ask for a Vintage tag, which got me the obligatory lecture about running around having fun in the vehicle. I explained to her it was an antique, which seemed to satisfy her completely.
Anyway I am, one step closer to being safe and legal. Now I just have to convince my insurance agent I won't have any fun driving it.

Check with grundys (find a local agent not on line ) i got 25.000. agreed value full coverage for 300.00 per year. the only thing ins agent could offer was liability.

He already insures my 66 2+2 Mustang. I think its less than $20 a month on it.
I am sure he can fix me up on the T.
Thanks though.

The T now has a tag. Ida is in the process of soaking the whole state, so I wasn't able to see how it feels to drive legal.
