Tim Allen's Track-T for sale

That's a beautiful car but i could never own something like that. I'ld be afraid to drive it.

I'd drive the heck out of it. That's what cars are built for. I had the issue of Street Rodder that had the article on this build. I like to think my T had a had a bit of this car in it. I liked the side mirrors and went to the Moal website and ordered a pair. They were about $125 apiece but worth it to me.

I got to see him take delivery of that car a few years ago. It is truly a fine crafted piece.

Jim

I was there too. It seems like a few years ago, but the 50th was 10 years ago...
I also talked to Tim a little last year at sema. We were in the new products section, and bumped into each other, both of us not watching where we were going

I dont understand why he would want to sell that car when he had it made especially for him... that sounds kinda odd... that would be like Jay Leno trying to ebay one of his cars...:)

Is this a hot rod or Just ART. If the driver doesnt have any blood on it well i wonder! Something to ponder!

Im still baffled as to why a multi-millionaire would want to sell a car that he was made strictly for himself to his specifications.... it just doesnt make sense to me...

I do agree, that car is a work of art!!!

He's making plans to pay for his health care next year.

Ooops, did I say that outloud. Sorry.

Now up to US $102,655.00 and reserve still not met. Am I missing something? It is a nicer build than my track-T, but our hp is about the same, both have manual transmissions and both have fully covered engines. I could transplant a 2009 supercharged ZR-1 crate engine ($21,000.00) with 638 very reliable horsepower and be at 1/3 that price for the entire car. Is Moal that good or are the bidders celeb-struck because it is Tim Allen's car?

From that article on ebay, it said that a car like that, that he built is worth up to half a million.... kinda curious if the reserve is somewhere close to that...

Not really. Maybe he's just ready to move on to something else. Guys do it all the time.

its only worth what somebody will pay for it. If he thinks somebody will pay half a million for that then good for him. Wish him luck. Just because its Tim Allen's car, BFD.

I agree maybe a fool and his money might soon be parted.
