Makes me feel good about owning a Track-T.
This car has and will always be a bench mark for other hand crafted cars. True the price seems absorbant but it will always be a piece of hot rod history. As such it will command a huge price tag. What would someone pay for the Al a kart today if it where original or one of Roths cars. Tim drove the bejeebers out of this car. The first set of tires where replaced 18 months after it hit the road. If you look at it today it appears much like it did when it was first on the road. I had the pure pleasure to see it in person 3 years ago. It was pristine then and i'm sure it is today.
As for why he's selling it .. well Tim has built 4 cars since then. How many can one guy drive. Sure he has writen the checks for them, but he has been in on the planning of each one. He is truely a hot rod guy in every sence of the word. Billy Gibons did the same with the Eliminator. I for one am happy to see these high profile guys strut their stuff. JMO
