What color should i paint my tramsmission?

I just picked up a rebuilt Powerglide for my T-Bucket and for some reason the transmission shop paints all his trannys black. I'm in the process of rebuilding the 327 to put back into the T-Bucket (the 350 crate engine will go in my '56 Chevy sedan) and it will be Chevrolet orange, not black, like a 327 should be. So i'm undecided as to what color i should paint the transmission, silver or Chevrolet orange. What do you guys think? Silver or orange?

There was a discussion earlier about leaving them plain they said the paint holds in the heat.But on most the either match the motor or frame.

Black will help pull heat out of the case.
