Jarrett's 27 roadster

You have to go over to the introduction section Young Gun and introduce yourself and get those posts up so you can post some pics!

This is brilliant. In a world full of greed and selfishness, you guys have shown your true colors by sending Jarrett parts for his project. Makes my heart warm again.

Here's to sharing the sickness! Go Jarrrett!

Good way to keep him away from drugs and smoking. He can’t afford them after buying hot rod parts! It worked for me! Lol

Me too! Never had the money to afford beer, smokes or worse. Car got 75% of money and girlfriend got 25%. Married her and the percentages reversed. Still married 48 years later and percentages are CREEPING back the other way again. :sneaky:

Hmmm.....maybe shouldn't let Jarrett know what the future may hold for a hotrodder?

Lotsa good cam choices for a 305. COMP has one - XE262H-10 (duration @ .050 = 218/224; lift =.462/.469; LDA = 110 degrees). Should be nice & torquey.

I looked at that. Summit has a 1102 cam that is same intake duration. From what I have read these 2 cams are spot on for our 9.4:1 CR

Well its not that I am some expert engine guy its just experience. I have had a couple 305's and they both had the cams and lifters rounded right off and these engines were only 60,000. If it were a 350 with 60,000 on it I would say leave it alone and maybe put on a new carb bang for buck.
