Mounting master w/under car exhaust?

Anyone have any ideas on where or how to mount my master cylinder when using ram horn exhaust manifolds with the exhaust system running under the car?

possibly mount it further back under the seat area, and use a stout bar to push on it , thus giving you room to route the exhaust away from it.

I have a master cylinder under the floor of my 27 that works both the brakes and hydraulic clutch, with the pipes from my headers going under there too. I did what Golly suggested and have two 3/4 inch diameter pushrods running back about 18 inches to the master cylinder. You may find you also need to build some sort of heat shield over the MC to keep the heat of the pipes off of it.

Thanks for the tips and pictures guys! With the master moved under the seat riser, I would think you could raise it up through the floorboard a little to gain a little clearance.

Correct , that's another bonus. Just put a little trap door under the seat so you can check and top up the fluid. cheers.
hey, nice looking chassis there Resinator
