Plywood alterative floor

For those that want and can afford big horsepower, more power to ya :D

For me, for a street car that is not going to be raced, I don't see the point of big horsepower...and I couldn't afford it anyway.

Does Spirit sell a piece of Cosa board? If so I'll use that on my Ron Pope body.
I doubt it. All the sources of Coosa board I've found are Marine suppliers. One of the alternatives, Seaboard, is usually available on ebay...and occasionally I've seen King Starboard on ebay...but I can not testify to their weight savings.
 
I used a decent grade 1/2" cabinet plywood.

The whole floor is incased in glass anyway. 3/16" on the top and 1/4" on the bottom.

If you use a specific weave of glass, like biaxial, triaxial or woven roving it'll be super strong.
