The owner of the shop ( Leroy Hunt). I'm building my project car in his abandoned body shop. So ; now i have TWO cars to build. Here's some more progress photos :

I use 1 layer of 2oz. fiberglass mat to make my skins. I also use a 28" x 48" x 1/2" piece of Neoprene to lay up my 2oz. fiberglass mat. The polyester resin doesn't stick to the Neoprene .
 
Abandoned body shop.... sounds spooky! Lol... lucky you. I literally grew up in my dads body shop. Learned a lot playing and watching the every day grind. I would love to go back to those days, about 1971 or so.
 
correction on the neoprene ( it's polyethylene). Not NEOPRENE !! Sorry everyone , I made a mistook.
