Just received an email about not being here for a very long time. Life just simply gets in the way. Couldn't do anything T-Bucket related, so the interest just evaporated.
Anyway, after the email reminder, I figure I'd better show my face again.
I've actually moved forward a few baby steps toward building my car.
Around May 1st I had my K & S Customs body delivered. Very nice, working door, extended body. So I am showing signs of life again.
Also, I have to say I debated whether I was actually going to build a hotrod with gas the prices, never to be cheap again. Just seems to be a bit strange in this environment. But, desire overcame common sense, and I spent the money for the body.
I've got my Vette rearend, my 440 (still to be assembled), my auto transmission that I still need to rebuild, and I'm also going to build my frame.
The frame, I have a question I'll ask on the proper forum.
I'm going to be taking pictures through the whole process.
Since I live in Vermont, right now I'm finishing up some garage insulating so I'll be able to work during the winter as well.
I have no idea how long (years?) this project will take, but I'll update each time I make any progress.
