Air flow...I bet a louvered panel would be fine. On a cool day cruising my fans don't even come on. And they usually run at less than 100% unless it's a hot day.

Made some progress on my steering today. Not finished I still want to box in the arms and bellcrank arms and mount but this will give you the idea if my video works!

Bought a 2 ton motor hoist from Horrible Freight today. I thought 2 tons was lifting capacity. After unloading it I think that is shipping weight! Had to open it in the truck and take it out of the boxes a piece at a time.

Got the rack mount figured out. I have about 1/4” clearance to the oil filter but that is as good as a mile. Had to go to a double u-joint to get to the firewall where I wanted to go. Also got the brake master mount tacked. It’s REAL close to the 4l80e trans. Have a different pedal coming to see if I can have a smaller hole in the floor.

My cap is 3 1/4” but the critical dimension is the output boss. Mine is 3 3/4”wide and your picture appears the bosses stick out past the cap a lot more than mine. Thanks for checking.

Just got the frame set to ride height with rear end under it andMAN! This car is bitchin’ ! I should have a roller this week. Spindles on the way after mod to fit wire wheels. Axles to be narrowed here. Wheel studs be here tomorrow. I started with the motor purchase May 16, 2016! I think I’m going to beat Sir Spanky’s time line.

I HAVE to beat it. I’m 77 years old! Lol. Worked on getting my MiniSplit heat and air put in this morning with the help of Indycars. I spent more time looking for stuff than working. I piled up stuff to make room for the install and was even more unorganized than usual.

Got the modified spindles back so I had to put the wire wheels on! Looks like I may have to reclock the torsion arms! Looks like I may be a tad low.

A tad is a little less than a scoch. After I aired up the tires I think the clearance will be fine. I still can’t clear most road kill but it looks cool. Found out I have 28 spline axles but my cut to fit are 31 spline! More money but I get to pick ratio and posi if it fits the ever expanding “budget”. Quotes makes it adjustable!
