cooters T bucket build

Hey RODJR! You watchin'? This is the set-up I described in my answer to you. With the longer of the two bat wing brackets your front end would be slick!

It would be a good idea to put a gusset on those rear radius rods. I realize they are 1" bars but in that length you may have problems that you can avoid before you paint or chrome them.

CCR rear radius rod configuration for Jaguar rear end has a pivot bracket with bushing attachment to lower control arm. Do you suggest using gusset in the radius rod for that application as well?

Thanks,
Jerry

I gotta modify this bracket to accept my drag link. unless CCR already makes a bolt on.

Going out in today's mail, you should them Tuesday.

Dezolde, the jag bars do not require a gusset, all the bar is doing is locating front to rear. A single bar would work fine but we like the look of matching the front and rear rods. On our model A's and 26-27's we use a different single bar that uses a rubber bushing.

How long are QA1 COILOVERS with 165# springs at ride height. Tryin to set this rear axle. Axle on blocks to compensate for the 30" tall tire i will run. Need to set chassis height now so i csn get RR bracket holes 90° to floor so i can tack all this up.

Ill make me a 12.5" piece of something to put in here to get all this set. Thanks. Rear axle harder to mock up for some reason? To many stinkin angels in different directions.

ANGLE ....you can mount the shocks as you like... most are between 0* -20* ANGLE....... they will ride a bit stiffer at 0 than at 20........ 1 up 1 down is good , just so they're not in line...anywhere up to 3* working angle at the joints is good...... don't get in a rush here ,,,measure , measure, measure , oh , did I say ...MEASURE...

Looking good Cooter , your flying. I cant get my RR rod brackets exactly 90 degrees to the floor. What did you come up with on yours.
