Explain to me then how inducing side to side motion into a system designed to be self-centering improves anything.

Isn't there laft to right movement due to the shackles? I never fooled with this type suspension so i really dont know.

We do not use a front panhard bar on the CCR T-Bucket chassis because we use side steering. A Panhard bar becomes important when using a cross steering set-up, shackles shift when a bump or dip in the road is hit while in a slight curve in the road and then that is transferred to the drag link across to the steering box (on a cross steer, normally Vega type box).
The rear Panhard bar on the coil-over CCR chassis is bent (twice) and offset to allow it to follow the housing shape, be as long as possible and still clear the frame rail. The mounting tab on the housing is low to keep it strong and hidden behind the coil-over on the passenger side when viewing from the rear for a clean look.

Just ask this guy. He is obviously quite happy with his.

well, out of money and have been tearing this 700R4 down till my money tree ripens back up. fun fun, output shaft don't look like it will make it and some Torrington bearings are junk.

The money tree is out of bloom at my house too. So, the rear panhard bar shouldn't be at an angle??
Im no chassis builder but from what i have been reading it needs to be pretty close to level. You had sny luck on yours? You have same setup i have.

From what I remember, the physical bar need not be as close to level as possible...an imaginary line between the ends does need to be as level as possible. The shape of the bar between the end points is irrelevant.

Correct. My jeep xj has a 4 link front suspension and my track bar is level on both ends but the center section is on long angle. I will most likely buy CCR's panhard bar.

for the sake of discussion , taking Zandoz premise that the opposing ends of the sway bar should be close to level [which I agree] how come the 1 ccr makes obviously mounts at an imaginary angle , at least that's how it looks in the pics.....
